Refund Policy

Last updated 15 August 2026

Grader Pro is a monthly subscription. This page says exactly when you get your money back, because nobody should have to email support to find that out.

14 days on your first payment

If you subscribe to Pro and it is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify it. We may ask what went wrong, but only so we can fix it, and an answer is not a condition of the refund.

After that, cancel rather than refund

Renewals are not refunded. What happens instead is that cancelling stops the next payment and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. You are never cut off partway through a month you paid for.

We do not refund part of a month. If you cancel on day 3, you keep Pro for the rest of that month rather than getting most of it back.

If we charged you by mistake

A duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or a charge for an amount you never agreed to gets refunded in full, whenever you spot it. The 14-day window does not apply to our own errors.

Nothing is deleted when you downgrade

Going back to the free plan does not delete your materials, sets, folders or groups. Everything you made stays. You return to the free limits, so some of it becomes read-only rather than disappearing.

If your payment fails

A declined card does not cancel you on the spot. Your bank is asked again over the following days, you keep Pro until the period you paid for runs out, and if it has still not gone through by then you move back to the free plan. We email you when the first attempt fails, so it is never a surprise.

How to ask

Email support@usegrader.com from the address on your account and say you want a refund. We reply within two working days.

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from. How long they take to appear is up to your bank, usually 5 to 10 working days.

Paying in Naira goes through Paystack. Paying in any other currency goes through Polar, which is the merchant of record and therefore the name on your receipt. Either way, ask us and we handle it.

Cancelling, in one line

Profile, then Billing, then Cancel. No email required, no retention questions. See also our Terms of Service.
